Chinese Consulate General in Perth Holds Recepti on in Celebration of the 66th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China

On the evening of 24 September 2015, Chinese Consul General in Perth Dr Huang Qinguo held a reception in celebration of the 66th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China. Representative of Western Australia government, Mr.John Day, MLA,Minister for Planning ; Culture and the Arts, Mr Berry House, MLA, President of the Legislative Council, Mr.Mark McGowan , MLA, Leader of the Opposition and other Western Australian politicians , members of Consular Corps in Western Australia and representatives of the local Chinese communities, Chinese Companies and Chinese Students totaling 300 attended the reception. Chinese Consul General Dr. Huang Qinguo, Minister John Day , Leader of the Opposition Mr. Mark McGowan and representative of the local Chinese Community delivered speeches respectively.

The reception was held in a warm atmosphere with good wishes from both sides for the continuous enhancement of bilateral ties , the growth of bilateral trade and even closer ties between the two countries. The artists from the local Chinese communities also presented Chinese traditional art performances.
